Each Year, The Vetty Awards Recognize The Institutions And Organizations That Are Making Strides To Improve The Lives Of Veterans And Their Families. In January 2019, The Call Of Duty Endowment Was Honored To Win This Award In The Employment Category For Its Working Helping Veterans Find High Quality Employment. This Award Is Given To The Entity That Demonstrates Excellence In Bridging The Gap Between Military And Civilian Life, Which Aligns Directly With The Call Of Duty Endowment’s Mission To Identify And Fund The Most Efficient And Effective Organizations That Help Veterans Find High Quality Careers. Keeping This At The Forefront, The Endowment Reached Its Goal Of 50,000 Veterans Placed By 2019 Several Months Ahead Of Schedule. To Date, It Has Funded The Placement Of More Than 60,000 Veterans Into Meaningful Careers. This Robust Work Could Not Be Done Without The Generous Support Of Activision Blizzard, Which Funds 100 Percent Of The Endowment’s Operating Costs, And Deloitte Who Closely Partners With Us In Evaluating Non-Profit Performance. We Thank Them And A Host Of Gamers And Other Corporate Partners For Their Ongoing Help As We Move Forward Towards Our New Goal Of Getting 100,000 Veterans Back To Work By 2024.
