2015 was an incredible year for the Call of Duty Endowment! We continued to get vets back to work by raising money and providing it to the best nonprofits in the country focused on veteran hiring.
Looking back, here's an update on our progress:
- In 2015, our grants helped over 10,400 veterans get a job, raising our total to more than 20,000 jobs for veterans that the Endowment has funded!
- Our special partnerships this year with GameStop, Costco, Carl’s Jr./Hardees, BestBuy, RedBox and Amazon yielded more than $1.4 million for the Endowment, funding the job placements of over 2,000 vets.
- This year’s Race to Prestige gaming marathon raised over $200,000 in individual donations from Call of Duty fans over six days, an amount that will fund the placement of over 300 veterans into high quality jobs.
- The Call of Duty®: Black Ops III – You Can Be A Zombie contest launched in July almost doubled the awareness of our mission amongst Call of Duty gamers and will help 128 veterans get jobs.
Thanks for your ongoing support and we look forward to keeping you updated about our progress in 2016.
